“TAKE TWO” is a DVD that includes two vintage half-hour television specials that aired on Phoenix and Tucson NBC and CBS affiliate television stations during prime-time viewing hours.  

They were originally shot and produced on 16 mm film in the early 1970’s.  Rick Bell was the photographer, and they were filmed at various remote locations around the state.  In the technology of the times, Dolan performed his original ballads “lip sync” to his 33 1/3 rpm LP recordings, while singing and filming on location.  Without realizing it, these two musical television pioneers created want would one day become known as “Musical Videos”, That was 50 years ago and at least 20 years before MTV.
